This award season has been an emotional rollercoaster for Lady Gaga. With nominations everywhere, from the Critics Choice to the Academy Awards, momma monster has been carried away by emotions. We all remember how genuinely shocked, astonished, and even cute she looked when she won the Critics Choice award for Best Actress. She was so deeply moved that she could barely say some words on stage. The same happened at the Golden Globes, and, the Grammy Awards. But The Oscars were no exception, when she won the award to Best Original Song.
Joanne has been one of the most emotional albums she’s recorded: she took inspiration from her family to write this album. Not only that, she’s also been critically acclaimed for her performance of Ally in Bradley Cooper’s remake of A Star Is Born (2018). In addition, “Shallow” which is the main musical piece of this romantic film, has been awarded as Best Original Score or Song in multiple ceremonies so far. And, being the intense and committed performer and artist she is, Lady Gaga has been moved to tears more than twice.
These are not the first Grammy statuettes the New York diva has received in her career. Yet, it’s completely comprehensible for Gaga to have her emotions running high since she’s been awarded for both of her passions: acting and singing. Still, as a small tribute, we’ve made a small compilation of the times Gaga showed us that her mascara has been in fact waterproof.

Greatness comes after lots of work, effort and talent. Yet, Lady Gaga has showed us that great things require attention to even the smallest detail. So whenever you feel you’re about to become a legend, there’s always time to improvise an acceptance speech, but no time to fix smudge mascara.
