The Weeknd has revealed the name of what could be the last album he will release under his stage name and the last in the trilogy that includes After Hours, Dawn FM and now Hurry Up Tomorrow.
After releasing three teasers with wonderful storytelling, Abel has shown us what a great artist he is, turning this latest stage into one of the most conceptual ever seen.
It is well known that The Weeknd likes stories that come in three parts, as we have seen before with the trilogy of House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence, which was so well done that even fans forget that they were three different albums.
The Weeknd Reveals Title of Trilogy’s Last Album and He’s Just Confirming Why He’s the Best Artist

Just a few hours ago the name of the next and probably last album of the Canadian artist came to light with some clues of what we can (or not) expect, as it’s known that Abel loves to play with our theories and in the end gives us something that we really didn’t see coming but we end up loving.
In the three teasers for ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ we saw conceptual elements that represent much more than we think, among them is the evolution of The Weeknd both as an artist and as a person. We saw several references to all his eras as an artist and the representation of Abel as a child is simply magnificent.
In fact there are also some textual references to this, since The Weeknd’s career as an artist did begin fourteen years ago and from the beginning of the announcement of the name of Hurry Up Tomorrow he begins to give us that reminder.
“Yesterday was fourteen years ago… We held our breath, falling into a shimmering sea in the after hours of the night,” began the scroll in an Instagram video backed by spare.

It’s almost as if Abel had planned everything since he was born as an artist.
“Attempted to cleanse the wounds with melodies and lights, a bulletproof bandage to shield what lies beneath,” he continued. “In a place where the seasons never changed, where time ceased to exist. But therein lays the problem. Today has felt like an endless spin, I keep distorting the truth, immune to the dizziness, numb to the nausea. What lies beneath — screams in silence. I look in the mirror and feel both old and new, stuck in limbo and unable to move. I still haven’t faced myself. More songs could help, but what do I have left to say? Woe is me in my gilded cage, right? The very thing that once made me invincible failed me on the world stage. A new trauma surfaced, opening floodgates… when today ends, I’ll discover who I am.”

We really expect some notes, whether conceptual, musical or lyrical, of Ethiopian elements as they were highlighted in the three teasers, which leads us to really want to see or hear more of The Weeknd’s origins.
