You don’t need money to decorate your house beautifully. You may think that to have amazing furniture and appealing decor you need to save up to buy some designer stuff. Just cut the cardboard into interlocking pieces, similar to a puzzle, and adhere it to the wall with resistant glue, tape, or hooks, or staple it to a cork board.

Using a bowl as a lamps can give a fresh light ambience wherever you decide to put it, be it a shelf or even your dinner table. You can do these pretty quickly. All you need is the plastic bowl, a pair of bolt cutters and a nice looking light cord. Cut a hole that gives enough space for the cord, attach the bulb ring to the opposite end, and assemble. After that, all you need is to screw the lightbulb to be ready to enjoy your brand new lamp.
4. Turn that broken cabinet door into an awesome tray
If your cabinet door breaks, be wise and don’t get rid of it right away. You can turn it into a perfect tray. All you need to do is to paint the surface in a nicer color, drill some holes in it, and attach a couple of drawer handles to it. Voilá!
5. Make laundry hampers out of pillowcases
If you don’t have a laundry hamper, there’s no need to buy one. Just get a pillowcase with a nice design, add an embroidery hoop with a 12 inch ring, and attach a little ribbon to hang it. You can place the hamper anywhere you want, but maybe the best option is to hang it on the inner side of your closet door.
6. Make coasters out of old sweaters
Your wool sweater might not be such a bad investment after all. Once it’s all worn out, you can just cut out the patterns that you like in it and sew them according to the fashion you consider best. If you want them to have a fluffy but resistant appearance, you can just wash it several times in hot water, and later dry it with an agitator, like jeans. Afterwards, just cut the parts of your sweater that you like the most.
7. Transform that old lightbulb into a bud base
Having a bud base for flowers is something that everyone should try. They look very fashionable and you don’t have to litter whenever a lightbulb stops working. To pull off this decor, all you need to do is get bolt cutters and get rid of the base of the ring. Likewise, you’ll need to find something, such as a candle base, to stabilize the bud.
