Is Blake Lively Silencing Voices? One Creator Fights Back

Blake Lively Youtuber Silence - Is Blake Lively Silencing Voices? One Creator Fights Back

YouTuber Lauren Neidigh (known online as LethalLauren904) is accusing actress Blake Lively of intimidation and harassment, and has asked the court for a protective order. Neidigh alleges that Lively’s legal team served her and other content creators with subpoenas after they criticized Lively online—some of which requested sensitive personal information like banking records. Although those subpoenas were later withdrawn, Neidigh argues the threat still looms and has burdened free speech.

The dispute stems from a broader legal battle between Blake Lively and her It Ends With Us co-star/director Justin Baldoni, where Lively has made allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation. Baldoni countered with a blockbuster $400 million suit against Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and publicist Leslie Sloane, though a judge dismissed his claims in June 2025.

Neidigh expressed in her court filing: “The subpoena targeted creators who have expressed unfavorable opinions about her online. … It served to intimidate, harass [and] chill constitutionally protected free speech.” She has requested sanctions against Lively’s legal team and asked for a court order preventing further subpoena attempts.

Lively’s representatives maintain the subpoenas were legitimate legal tools used to probe whether critics—including online content creators and media figures—were part of an orchestrated smear campaign regarding Baldoni. They deny any attempt at intimidation and highlight that the process was not concluded.

As the trial is set to begin in March 2026, both sides are pushing discovery and depositions—Lively recently sat for an extended deposition in New York, reportedly attended by Baldoni himself.

Most Recent Development: Deposition Face‑Off

On July 31, 2025, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni finally came face‑to‑face during a day‑long deposition at Lively’s lawyer’s office in New York, allowed under a court protection order. Baldoni’s presence at the deposition raised eyebrows and criticism due to the high tensions and sensitivity of the process.

In parallel, Baldoni obtained access to Lively’s messages with Taylor Swift—documents he requested ahead of the March 2026 trial as part of his defense.
