It’s been over a year since Kourtney Kardashian married Travis Barker in a lavish ceremony in Italy. However, since then, the eldest of the clan and Kim Kardashian have started a fight that has been escalating before the world’s eyes. However, it seems that this sister feud has now reached hateful levels as we got to see in the preview of the upcoming season of The Kardashians.
What Sparked Kim and Kourtney’s Fight?
First, let’s talk about the origin of the feud in case you missed it. As mentioned, Kourtney and Travis got married in Italy and the design of the wedding, including the beautiful gowns of the bride and groom, as well as their guests was made by none other than Dolce & Gabbana. The aesthetic of the wedding was gothic 90s and it was all perfection. So, what happened?
Months after the wedding the famous Italian house invited Kim Kardashian to curate and pull up a fashion show based on their historic archives. The leader of the clan chose a 90s aesthetic for the show, although, as she has mentioned multiple times, she was careful not to choose anything similar to her sister’s vision. Kourtney felt Kim was deliberately robbing her ideas to steal her thunder, and chaos ensued.

Why Happened Now?
Although during the last season of the show, Kourtney and Kim made amends, things got heated after the season was actually released. Seeing what both said on camera reignited the fight. The scene from the preview starts with Kim telling Kourtney that she’s going to do another collab with Dolce & Gabbana and that she’s invited to go with her. Kourtney tells her she supports her but won’t be attending, and once again they start fighting.
Kim repeats to her sister that she has contractual obligations with them and that she can’t just leave the work and Kourtney once again explains that she hates that the family always puts business before the others. Eventually, the eldest sister says that things like this make her “not want to be around the family anymore,” and Kim keeps insisting that she hasn’t done anything out of spite or attempting to hurt her. But her words mean nothing to Kourtney.
The whole fight is basically the same we already saw in the past season, but more heated as Kim told her bluntly that she didn’t copy anything from her wedding because she didn’t even like her vision since they were “not that original.”

“You cannot stand someone else being the center of attention. You came to my wedding, you couldn’t be happy, you complained from the second you got there until the second you left. Forget about you couldn’t be happy, you couldn’t be happy for me.”
What definitely made things worse was the fact that Kim said to Kourtney that she’s a “different person now” and that everybody, friends and family, agrees with that. She even revealed that they have a group chat called “Not Kourtney” to discuss this matter. Not only that, Kim added that even Kourtney’s kids have reached them with concerns about their mother, which naturally enraged Kourtney even more.
“Is that helpful? You’re like adding it into a fight to have a side like it’s you and my friends and my kids and everyone against me. You’re just a f—king witch, and I f—king hate you.” During the interviews, Kourtney admits that both sisters brought out their worst but claims that Kim was “using any weapon that she could find to hurt her and weaponized her relationships” to hurt her even more, including her kids.
Who’s Right? Kim or Kourtney?
This sister feud has opened a public debate among fans who still care about this family. On the one side, since the very beginning, fans claimed that Kourtney is taking it too personally and that Kim’s curation was nothing like her wedding vibes. Moreover, they claim that Kim was faithful to her style while Kourtney doesn’t have one and has only adopted her husband’s vibes.
Those on Kim’s side, keep thinking that if Kourtney hasn’t been happy for years about their family dynamics, she should’ve cut ties a long time ago, but she’s still profiting from the job Kim, her mom, and her sisters are doing.
On the other hand, many believe that Kourtney has finally found happiness and shouldn’t be engaging in all this drama that is clearly making money for the family at her own expense. They also believe that Kim using her children was unnecessary and a low blow at her sister.
What do you think? Is one of them on the right side? Do you even care about them?
