Give your Christmas decoration a Mexican touch with these colorful ideas

Whether because you miss Mexico or love Mexican culture, is no secret that everybody identifies Mexican elements such as papel picado or piñatas, and of course Christmas is all about colors, joy, and fiesta.

That’s why we decided to give you some ideas to level up your Christmas decoration with some Mexican details. Be it some Loteria or typical Mexican dolls to decorate your Christmas tree or, why not, hang some Christmasy papel picado for your posada.

Remember that one of the main characteristics of a Mexican Christmas is to enjoy your family and friends’ company, have a good time drinking some hot beverages such as ponche or hot chocolate, and lots of delicious food.

One of the main decorations in any Mexican Christmas is the Poinsettia flower or also known as Flor de Nochebuena. Its red color is perfect to highlight the holiday spirit.
