After an almost closed 2020 and a strange process of going back to a new normal in 2021, 2022 is promising a strong comeback for the movie industry. As it happens every year, most of the excitement comes from upcoming Marvel releases like Thor 4, Doctor Strange 2, and Black Panther 2. This year, however, Marvel will have some competition when it comes to mainstream DC superheroes with the release of highly-anticipated The Batman (which rumor has it, made Marvel postpone the release of Doctor Strange) and Aquaman.
Other movie franchises are also releasing movies that promise a great profit at the box office. We’ll se the return of Fantastic Beasts 3, and Mission Impossible 7. Fans are also excited to see some of their favorite characters coming back to the screen; we’ll see Elle Woods returning in Legally Blonde 3, Hocus Pocus 2, and Courtney Cox reprising her role in Scream.
Last but not least, we have to mention some of the 2022 Disney releases. We’ll have two main live-action: Pinocchio and Peter Pan and Wendy, as well as new feature films like Turning Red.
