Wait, what? A Donald Trump biopic right when the former POTUS is standing trial for fraud?! Yes, as you heard it, this is happening, and as shocking as it may be, is not as startling as the fact that he will be played by none other than the Marvel favorite Sebastian Stan.
The controversial business mogul, president of the United States, and now contender to take back his seat at the Oval Office, is certainly quite an interesting figure to analyze, and it seems filmmaker Ali Abbasi is willing to do that in film format.
According to Deadline, The Apprentice, which has already started production this week, will focus on a young Donald Trump and his efforts to “build his real estate business in New York in the 70s and 80s.” However, more than a piece praising or highlighting his deeds, the film will be an “exploration of power and ambition, set in a world of deceit.”
Within that context, The Apprentice will give us a close-up of Trump’s relationship with Roy Cohn, an ambitious attorney who somehow mentored him to achieve his goals, and the one with his former wife Ivana Trump. Both characters will be played by Jeremy Strong (from Succession) and Maria Bakalova (from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3).
This Is How Sebastian Stan Looks Like as Donald Trump
First images of the Marvel alumni transformed in to a young Donald Trump have finally been revealed, and although we were all doubting he had any resemblance whatsoever with the former president, we must say this doesn’t disappoint! Sebastian Stan is truly a chameleon and the makeup team is certainly the best of the best. Here are the first images of the actor in full costume!

Donald Trump’s Relationship with Roy Cohn

As mentioned, Donald Trump and Roy Cohn had a close and influential relationship that spanned several decades. Cohn, a controversial and ruthless attorney, served as a mentor to Trump and helped shape his approach to business and politics.
Trump and Cohn first met in the early 1970s when Trump was a young real estate developer in New York City. Cohn was immediately drawn to Trump’s ambition and brash personality, and he took Trump under his wing. Cohn advised Trump on a variety of legal and business matters, and he also helped Trump cultivate relationships with powerful people in New York.
Cohn’s influence on Trump was profound. He taught Trump how to use the media to his advantage, how to negotiate aggressively, and how to never back down from a fight. Cohn also instilled in Trump a deep distrust of the government and the media. Trump came to rely heavily on Cohn’s advice and counsel. He often referred to Cohn as his “mentor” and “best friend.” Cohn was also involved in many of Trump’s most significant legal battles, including the Justice Department’s lawsuit against Trump for alleged racial discrimination in his housing rentals.
Cohn’s career was marred by controversy and scandal. He was disbarred from practicing law in New York in 1986 for unethical conduct. Cohn died in 1988 at the age of 59. Despite Cohn’s checkered past, Trump has remained loyal to his former mentor. He has praised Cohn as a “brilliant” and “tough” lawyer, and he has said that he learned a lot from him.
Donald and Ivana Trump’s Tormentous Relationship

On the other hand, Donald and Ivana Trump’s relationship was a complex and tumultuous one, marked by both love and conflict. The couple met in New York City in 1976 and married nine months later. They had three children together: Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric.
Donald and Ivana’s early relationship was passionate and intense. They were both ambitious and driven, and they enjoyed each other’s company. Ivana was also a savvy businesswoman and a skilled marketer, and she played a key role in helping Donald to build his empire. The Trumps’ relationship was always in the public eye.
Donald’s infidelity was a major source of conflict in the marriage. He reportedly had numerous affairs throughout the course of their relationship, and Ivana eventually filed for divorce in 1990. The divorce was highly publicized and bitter, and it further damaged the Trumps’ reputation.
Despite their tumultuous history, Donald and Ivana remained cordial after their divorce. They were both devoted to their children, and they continued to do business together. Ivana even endorsed Donald’s presidential bid in 2016. Ivana passed in 2022.
