Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes just ended their relationship. That’s right, friends, it’s official, one of our favorite couples just announced their separation.
They gave the sad news through a heartfelt message on their official Instagram accounts causing the most surprisingly sad reactions from their followers. After two years of a beautiful relationship, lots of support, fun vacations (even the last ones in our country for Day of the Dead celebrations), singers Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have decided to put an end to their love relationship and share it publicly.
They wrote in their stories:
“Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship, but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever. We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward. Camila and Shawn.”
Both published the same thing on Wednesday, November 17, surprisingly at night. Of course, the reactions on social networks were not long in coming. Their fans are shocked and have turned them into a trend. Is it a joke? Some people think so because the couple is quite funny, but we don’t know, this doesn’t seem like a lie. It did come as a surprise because we saw them happy and enjoying each other. Traveling, exercising, celebrating their second year of relationship, and constantly having fun. What happened, we don’t know, we may never know, but it is definitely unfortunate news.
They became one of the fan’s favorite couples during the two years they were together; the exact amount of time we have been in this pandemic, so we could all follow closely to all their adventures and the evolution of their relationship. It leaves us totally sad and full of doubts. Some have even posted that how will they believe in love if it didn’t work out Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s relationship that looked amazing, healthy, and with a bright future.
We will have to wait to see if, perhaps this is just a rough patch or, fingers crossed, that it is only a joke.
