Here are some of the most prominent theories that continue to capture the imagination of those seeking answers:

East Coast-West Coast Rivalry: One of the most widely accepted theories is that the murder was a result of the intense rivalry between East Coast and West Coast hip-hop factions. This theory suggests that the feud between the rapper and The Notorious B.I.G., along with their respective record labels, Death Row Records and Bad Boy Records, played a significant role in the murder.

Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson: Another theory posits that Orlando Anderson, a member of the Southside Crips gang, was responsible for Tupac’s murder. This theory gained traction after the rapper and his entourage were involved in a physical altercation with Anderson at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas on the night of the shooting.

Suge Knight: Some believe that Suge Knight, the CEO of Death Row Records, orchestrated the assassination. The theory suggests that Knight had killed the rapper to prevent him from leaving Death Row Records and starting his own label.

Faked Death: A more outlandish theory is that Tupac faked his own death and is living in hiding. Proponents of this theory point to various “clues” in his music and public statements, as well as alleged sightings of Tupac in different parts of the world.

Government Conspiracy: Another theory suggests that Tupac was killed by the government due to his influence and outspoken nature. This theory posits that Tupac’s activism and his connections to the Black Panther Party made him a target for government agencies.

Biggie Smalls’ Involvement: Some theories implicate The Notorious B.I.G. (Biggie Smalls) in Tupac’s murder, suggesting that he either directly or indirectly played a role in orchestrating the hit.
