Prince Harry has been an advocate for mental health and certainly his role as a Royal Member has taught him so much, being one of these quitting your job if it does not bring you joy.

Talking to Fast Company, the Duke of Sussex shared what his contribution to BetterUp, a San Francisco-based company that provides coaching and mental health services to businesses and individuals, has been.

Since He started the job in March, he has been trying to drive advocacy and awareness for mental fitness.

While talking about how the pandemic brought changes to the labor force, Prince Harry mentioned that it has certainly led to a mental health awakening, but it isn’t new.

“The reality is these struggles and issues have been brewing for quite some time”, said the Duke.

Harry mentioned that the pandemic let people pay attention to mental health and that its relation to the recent job resignations “aren’t bad at all”.

“In fact, it is a sign that with self-awareness comes the need for change. Many people around the world have been stuck in jobs that didn’t bring them joy, and now they’re putting their mental health and happiness first. This is something to be celebrated”, said.

Let us remember that one of the main reasons Prince Harry left his role as a royal member was because of the pressure it represented and the constant attacks of the press not only against him but also his wife Meghan Markle.
