TikTok never ceases to amaze, and this time, it has brought us the craziest food pairing ever. Watermelon and mustard. It all began when user @yayayayummy posted a video talking about his favorite weird food pairing, and it went viral. Soon later, hundreds followed his lead and tried it for themselves.
“Grab yourself a juicy watermelon, cut that baby up, get yourself some French’s yellow mustard, pour that sucker on, and cheers!
His video was such a hit that even Lizzo, who boasts 16 million followers, had to give it a try.
“Welcome to ‘Is it bussin or is it disgusting?’ Just kidding, I just made that up. Alright, I’ve been seeing this sh*t on the internet. Mustard. Watermelon. I don’t understand, hold on. Huh?”
The video has been viewed over 2 million times, and it was so successful, that @yayayayummy started posting other weird pairings. Carrot juice and Oreo cookies, pickles and peanut butter, and even bananas and mayo.
