Marvel Studios’ Black Widow is finally out. In this film, we finally learn a little bit more about the origin of one of the original Avengers. Natasha Romanoff played a huge role in the first three phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and fans were desperate to see a film devoted to her. Black Widow premieres on July 9 on cinemas and Disney+ with an additional cost.
If you’re one of those Marvel fans who are always looking for easter eggs and want to have everything fresh in your mind before de movie, these are the ones you should definitely watch beforehand:
Iron Man 2

Natasha Romanoff made her debut in the MCU with this film. In the story, Nick Fury sends Black Widow on a mission to Stark Industries to spy on Tony Stark.
The Avengers

Natasha joins the Avengers to help fight one of the most famous villains of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Loki. Here she demonstrates the strength she has because, although she does not have powers like the other heroes, Natasha is as good in physical combat as her associates.

After getting to know a little more about Black Widow in The Avengers, Natasha now works alongside Captain America to fight an unexpected enemy. Together they try to expose a conspiracy that puts the world at risk.
Avengers: Age of Ultron

In this movie, we get to see Natasha’s first encounter with Scarlet Witch, who shows flashbacks of Natasha being trained in the red room to be a dangerous spy. These are revealed to be her worst memories from her dark past.
Captain America: Civil War

There is a division among the Avengers after they must take a crucial decision about the nature of their association. Natasha’s character must fight against two of her greatest allies and friends: Hawkeye and Captain America.
Avengers: Infinity War

In the penultimate film of Phase 3 of the MCU, Natasha joins the Avengers to fight Thanos, one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s greatest villains. It’s one of the most important films of the franchise, and when we finally see our favorite heroes lose.
Avengers: Endgame

In this last movie of Phase 3, Natasha’s character finds herself fighting alongside the remaining Avengers after Thanos’ snap. They’ll try to bring back the half of humanity that disappeared. Sadly, it’s the end of this character, as she had to sacrifice herself to get the Soul Stone. Black Widow sacrifices herself to save humanity like a true hero.
Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Kari Skogland (2021)
Natasha doesn’t appear in this series, but you should check it out if you want to fully understand Black Widow’s post-credit scene!
