Disney’s Encanto has taken us all on an emotional wheel fortune. As the most-watched film in the Disney+ streaming service, Disney’s rendition to Colombia has sparked all sorts of conversations ranging from generational trauma, toxic family dynamics, Colombia’s history with violence, a discussion of the origin of Arepas, Lin Manuel Miranda’s style found in each of his projects, the usage of diversity for entertainment’s sake, and so many more.
However, besides all these quite interesting themes, if there’s something that the Encanto movie has generated is a craze to analyze, or better said over-analyze, every single detail on the film.
