The world has been united, at least in terms of music, by the festive and sensual beats of Latin rhythms, with reggaeton being the dominant genre of our time. In the past year, there’s been a huge boom of Latino culture everywhere, and every day more and more exponents of this culture have been praised and awarded for their craft.
There’s a long list of influential Latin musicians killing it on an international level. They’ve been nominated and awarded at mainstream award shows, they’ve performed at some of the most important festivals and venues, and they’ve even collaborated with some really succesful music icons. Still, there’s something about us Latinxs, that urges us to celebrate together, and the Latin Billboards are the perfect opportunity to enjoy and see all of our icons in the making together in one huge party filled with incredible music.
This year features some regulars at the top nominations, but there’s also many other new exponents who have broken all barriers in just a short period of time. So, if you want to get in the mood and start the fiesta before the ceremony, here are some of this year’s hits that made the world dance.
