Bad Company was a great British rock band, although somewhat overshadowed by other rock bands from the time. But fear not, my friend, “Feel Like Makin’ Love” is one of their greatest hits and it’s the perfect combination of feelings and physicality. “Baby, when I think about you I think about Love.” That’s rock and roll right there.
Redbone- Childish Gambino
“Redbone” is Childish Gambino’s greatest hit, and it has the sexiest groove ever. The song is about his girlfriend; “redbone” is a term used in the African-American community to describe light-skinned black women. And the lyrics are about longing to have sex with the person you love, and how into each other they are.
House of Cards- Radiohead
I bet you wouldn’t have expected this here. “House of Cards” feels more like a love song than a sex song, but its intention is clear from the get go when the song’s lyrics say: “I don’t wanna be your friend. I just wanna be your lover.” It features a smooth riff and a cool echo that will thrust you into an ethereal mood you can enjoy with your partner. Say no more. DJ, spin that song!
Glorybox – Portishead
Another song with a sexy tune. It’s very well known, and it definitely deserves to be here. This one is extra special, though, because it’s about a woman who talks to a man, pleading him to give her a “reason to be a woman.” This is the most sensual guitar solo in a song maybe ever, certainly in a long time. It’s sure to get you in the mood, both for loving and making love.
Look – Sébastien Tellier
“Just let me play, just let me play.” An awesome chorus for this English song by a French singer. The video itself is very suggestive, if not outright sexual, but the lyrics are more, shall we say, playful.
Beyoncé- Rocket
This is Beyoncé, the queen, at her raunchiest. The lyrics to this song are so explicit, they’ll make you blush. But then again, Beyoncé makes it work, so that you feel like it’s the most romantic song you have ever heard. And you’ll love it.
The Fall- Rhye
Rhye is wowing the world with their sweet music and lyrics. This song is about– “Ooo make love to me one more time before you go away.” Can Rhye make it any more obvious? Yet the music isn’t sexy. Very much like Radiohead’s soothing tune, “The Fall” offers an nearly conceptual proposal. And yes, we love it as well.
