Makeup inspired by ‘Game of Thrones’? A girl is happy. Urban Decay has just paired up with Game of Thrones to release an exclusive makeup collaboration and it has all of us bending the knee.
With just a few weeks to go before the release of the eighth and final season of our beloved series, Game of Thrones, everyone's anticipation is growing bigger every day, with brands playing the game and giving fans all sorts of merch inspired by the Seven Kingdoms. Makeup, of course, wasn’t about to be left behind, and today, all our GoT dreams became true with the announcement of an exclusive collaboration between the series and the popular brand Urban Decay.
The brand, who announced this already iconic collection with the hashtag #FORTHETHRONE, has finally unveiled the entire thing and all I can say is "a girl wishes she had enough Bravoos coins to buy it all." The entire collection includes a really cool eyeshadow palette, that with the brand's amazing formula is really promising. It also comes with some astonishing lipsticks inspired by Sansa Stark, Cersei Lannister Daenerys Targaryen, and the fearsome Knight King, some cheek and lips tint awesomely named "Dracarys," two brushes inspired by John Snow and Arya Stark's emblematic swords, some badass liners, and a gorgeous highlighter palette inspired by the one and only "Mother of Dragons."
Now, it’s definitely not the first time we hear about Game of Thrones makeup products. Just last year, Wet 'n Wild released a collection called "Fire Dragon and Ice Dragon," clearly inspired by the popular series. Storybook Cosmetics also hinted at a collection that included an awesome dragon shell lipstick that looked to die for. However, they never got the license, and honestly, I think it was a smart move because this collection is definitely giving me the most Westerosi vibes ever.
Though the brand is iconic by itself, they’ve released many cool collaborations and themed collections including one about Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, Pulp Fiction, and the emblematic artist Basquiat. All of them have been gorgeous, so we can safely assume that this Game of Thrones collab is beyond compare.
Now, the most important question: when will we be able to get our hands on these? Sorry to stop you in your tracks but the collection will come out till April 14, just a few days before the eight and last season starts. How much? You probably must be a Lannister to get it all since the entire Vault will retail for 250 US dollars. But relax, you can get one item still rock the entire Westeros and beyond.
