Pentagon Confirms It Is Still Secretly Interested In Investigating UFOs

The Pentagon has just revealed that the US Government continues to investigate reported UFOs and extraterrestrial sightings.

In 2012, the Department of Defense shut down a secret program called the Advanced Aerospace Identification Program, known as the AATIP. Unbeknownst to the American people, this program was in charge of pursuing “research and investigation into unidentified aerial phenomenon” and doing so cost around 22 million USD. In 2017, the existence of the program was disclosed to the general public, but by then, if we chose to believe the DOD, the program was long gone. Recently, however, Christopher Sherwood, a spokesperson for the Pentagon has just revealed that the US Government continues to investigate reported UFOs and extraterrestrial sightings.pentagon confirms it is still secretly investigating ufos@ufosecrecyThe Department of Defense is always concerned about maintaining positive identification of all aircraft in our operating environment, as well as identifying any foreign capability that may be a threat to the homeland.

Nick Pope, a former secret collaborator for the British government told the post this was a “bombshell revelation”, reported the New York Post. HE even doubled down by explaining that “Previous official statements were ambiguous and left the door open to the possibility that AATIP was simply concerned with next-generation aviation threats from aircraft, missiles and drones — as skeptics claimed.

The specific use of “unidentified aerial phenomenon” seems to hide a completely different attitude towards UFOS, and it happens weeks after the US Navy unveiled new guidelines on collecting information about UFO sightings. The Navy reported a spike in the humber of “highly advanced aircraft” encroaching on its air space. Are we finally going to get the space invaders we’ve been waiting for?

No, a Navy spokesman said these aircrafts could actually be ‘extremely advanced Russian aircraft.” One thing is for sure, the US Government is now being more open about discussing its own interest in investigating UFOs, something conspiracy theorists have been dreaming of since they came up with their conspiracies. Could the Roswell mystery finally be answered? We sure hope so.
