The 4-month-old baby, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, was officially presented to the world as Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle arrive in South Africa for their royal tour.

The duke and duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, brought their son Archie-Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor with them on the royal tour's South Africa stop, where they took him to a scheduled meeting with retired Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his daughter, Thandeka Tutu-Gxashe. And the whole world got to see the anticipated appearance with loving eyes.

An endearing meeting

Archie had not made a public appearance since his christening in July, so this was basically his public debut—and it was as adorable as you can imagine.

Ahead of the meeting, Archie made his first video appearance on Instagram, posted to the family's Sussex Royal account with the caption "Arch meets Archie!" And if the photos are anything to go by, the meeting appeared endearing indeed.

"The Archbishop, a globally respected figure in anti-apartheid movement, is one of the world’s great champions of equality, and has spent his life tirelessly battling injustice."

It's all about Archie

Baby Archie certainly looks happy throughout the event, with his parents keen on keeping him safe and happy as they move forward with their royal tour.

"Their Royal Highnesses have joined The Archbishop and Thandeka to learn more about the work of The Tutu and Leah Legacy Foundation," the post continues "and see first-hand how they are focussing on global awareness of the critical issues affecting the world."
