The real winners of the Super Bowl are these doggies that will soon be adopted thanks to an initiative by Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi.

After winning the Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs player celebrated the victory in a very special way. Not only did Nnadi lie on the ground to make “confetti angels,” he also celebrated by helping animals in need.

Hours after winning the biggest game of the year, the 23-year-old player posted on Facebook that he would sponsor the adoption fees of 91 dogs from the KC Pet Project in Kansas City, Missouri.

In September 2019, Nnadi and the KC Pet Project announced their collaboration.  Throughout the season, the dogs that were sponsored by Nnadi found a home, so these 91 doggies will probably find a home of their own very soon.
