Social media exploded with an alleged new Hollywood romance which has fans ecstatic. Two of the greatest Hollywood celebs of our times are supposedly dating or are having some romantic bond, according to the comments made by many internet users around the world.
When something like this happens, the media and fans of the celebrities involved take the case to extremes, making the covers of magazines, updating viral posts with theories, or even videos dedicated to the couples. This was no exception. Selena Gomez fans, self-known as the ‘selenators’ and Chris Evans’ followers claim that both are dating.

This series of rumors, which have been gaining strength in the last week, came out of some alleged photos in which, according to social media users, Selena Gomez and Chris Evans were caught on camera leaving separately from the same restaurant. This raised the alarms and made their followers start to inquire more.
Although this might not be of much importance, since going out to a restaurant may not imply something romantic, fans also noticed that both artists began to follow each other through Instagram, which made the rumors of this alleged relationship take more strength.
However, these rumors may soon come to an end, as information has surfaced that the photos in which they allegedly leave the same restaurant are from years past when the two artists had nothing to do with each other, not even by mistake. In fact, both Selena and Evans were involved in romantic relationships with other people at the time the photos were taken.
As for Selena Gomez’s photos, they were taken in November 2017, the same year she was still dating The Weeknd. Unlike what is said, the interpreter of ‘Lose You To Love Me,’ was not leaving a restaurant, but a pilates center in West Hollywood, California.
As for the actor, who gave life to the iconic Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the photos are from over five years ago, to be exact, from October 2013. As with Selena, Chris Evans was not leaving any restaurant rather he was picking up the mail. In addition, it is known that, at that time, he was in a relationship with actress Minka Kelly.
Although the photos were taken completely out of context, neither of the two artists have stated anything about this rumor, nor has it been denied or officially confirmed. However, some followers and media outlets have commented that maybe Chris Evans began to follow Selena Gomez because they could be working on a project together.
