Salma Hayek was so overwhelmed playing a latinx Marvel superheroe that started crying

The actress confessed that the first time she saw herself with the superheroe suit, started crying.

Salma Hayek is once again a true mexican pride and this time as a Marvel superhero: Ajak in Eternals, the latest film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although she has a renowned career as an actress, this role is important mainly because she appears in one of the most popular franchises worldwide in recent years.

For this reason, Salma was deeply moved when she saw her character for the first time on screen.

In a promotional interview for Eternals, she explained her emotion when she saw a superheroine played by an actress with a dark face.

"I saw my brown face in the superhero costume and when I saw my face I saw your face, I saw my face as a girl who had to have so much courage to dream big," said Salma, facing a reporter who could not help but to crying as well.
