Taylor Hawkins had traces of 10 different substances in his blood, Colombian police say

A toxicology report found presence of marijuana, antidepressants and opioids in Taylor Hawkin’s body.

Details of the sudden death of Taylor Hawkins, Foo Fighters’ drummer, have been released by Colombian police. The latest states that the musician had 10 different drugs in his system by the time he died.

According to reports published by Colombian police, a urine toxicology report found the presence of 10 different substances, including opioids, marijuana, and antidepressants.

However, officials said that the cause of death is yet to be determined while investigations are still ongoing, and is not clear if drugs played a role in his passing, according to BBC.

The British outlet also reported that Taylor was found dead at his hotel room after emergency services were called in at the hotel with reports of a man suffering from chest pain; however, he did not respond to resuscitation efforts and was declared dead, the city’s health department said.
