Fully capturing feminine sensuality is an art form. You need more than a naked body to catch the essence of a woman. It doesn’t matter if she is a model, an occasional poser, or a shy girl that undresses in front of the lens for the first time. The key to erotic photography isn’t the amount of flesh shown or a suggestive pose. The secret is to seize the confidence of a woman in relation to her anatomy, the confidence that comes from accepting the perfect imperfections.
Russian photographer Igor Koshelev started photographing the beauties of his country six years ago. The emerging photographer has an important presence on social media, and his work has been exhibited in Russia.

The combination of light and sensuality confers a special elegance to his pictures. Koshelev shows self-confident women, assured of their sensuality, and sometimes in the midst of sexual pleasure. These perfectly shaped and well maintained bodies awake our most private instincts.

Nonetheless, the photography of the Saint Petersburg native arises divided opinions. On the one hand, some people will praise his work and celebrate his capacity to capture feminine sensuality. On the other, some will look down on it saying it’s only pornography. Also, as it happens with a lot of erotic projects, there will be critical voices that wonder which of these women are just models with gym sculpted bodies or surgical manipulated figures.
In this case, Igor Koshelev doesn’t look for women with perfect measurements; he photographs ladies that enjoy their femininity with all its characteristics, with either big or small breasts, with round or well defined bottoms.

Words are unnecessary, for Koshelev’s pictures provoke sighs. Who you can follow his work on Facebook, Tumblr, and in his official page.
