Los Simpson predijeron una nueva situación

After seeing how Parisians and fashionistas became victims of the plague of bedbugs, it comes as no surprise to find out that The Simpsons had already warned us that something like this would happen, and we didn’t pay attention…

This news unleashed panic among Parisians and tourists who attended the City of Lights, as authorities warned about a plague of bedbugs in the city, and even some videos of these insects attending Fashion Week. All this adds to the list of “things predicted” by the yellow family, such as the disappearance of the Titan submarine, killer hornets, and smartwatches, among many other situations.

Now, fans of the iconic cartoon made viral an old episode in which the characters face a plague of bedbugs, those insects that are difficult to exterminate and cause a lot of itching.

The Simpsons Predictc the Bedbug Plague

It turns out that 10 years ago, The Simpsons premiered an episode that included a prophecy about bedbugs. This one, under the name “Pulpit Friction,” derives from a play on words from Pulp Fiction, Quentin Tarantino’s movie. This episode is part of season 24 and shows the day when the yellow family must buy a new couch for their house.

Marge wants to get it in a Springfield store, but Homer goes ahead and buys one online, based in New York. Unfortunately, his new acquisition has a little big problem. It turns out that the furniture was infested with bedbugs, a plague that spread throughout the city.

As happened recently in Paris, society panicked. Everyone is looking for a solution to put an end to the plague and the terrible itch. Undoubtedly, The Simpsons have powers, because before any tragedy or historical event occurs, they already have an episode that reflects it.
