A former cameraman for Megan Thee Stallion is taking legal action against the rap sensation, alleging a hostile work environment and various misconduct. Emilio Garcia, in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles and reported by Page Six, asserts that Megan subjected him to distressing situations, including witnessing having sex with another woman in a car while on tour.

According to Garcia, during a tour stop in Ibiza, Spain, in June 2022, he was present in an SUV where Megan allegedly had sex with another woman. He claims Megan instructed him not to discuss what he saw afterward. “Don’t ever discuss what you saw,” the rapper allegedly told Emilio.

Garcia expressed feeling uncomfortable and shocked by the incident, unable to leave the moving vehicle in a foreign country. “I felt uncomfortable. I was kind of frozen, and I was shocked. At kind of just the overall audacity to do this right, right beside me.” He also expressed how he “could not get out of the car as it was both moving and he was in the middle of nowhere in a foreign country”

The photographer alleges that Megan also subsequently subjected him to derogatory remarks and body shaming, despite her public advocacy for body positivity. In Spain, Megan attacked Emilio with comments like “fat bitch,” “spit your food out” and “you don’t need to be eating.”

“[He] endured a barrage of relentless sexual and fat-shaming comments plunging him into profound emotional distress,” making him struggle with “mounting anxiety, depression and physical distress stemming from the toxic work environment.” calls the lawsuit.

He states that Megan altered his payment structure after the incident, leading to decreased earnings and professional opportunities. As a result, Garcia claims significant financial losses and emotional distress, including anxiety and depression.

The night before a scheduled shoot in June 2023, Emilio was ‘suddenly let go’ by Roc Nation, which is Megan’s management company. He asserts that his termination from Roc Nation, Megan’s was a ‘retaliatory measure’ for his complaints about the alleged misconduct and inadequate compensation.

Attorney Ron Zambrano, representing Garcia, emphasized the severity of the allegations, characterizing them as instances of sexual harassment and labor code violations. Zambrano calls for accountability from ‘WAP’ singer and her associated entities, urging proper compensation for Garcia and an end to such behavior.

Despite these legal actions, Megan Thee Stallion and her representatives have not yet publicly addressed the allegations. Alongside Megan, Garcia is pursuing legal action against Megan Thee Stallion Entertainment, Inc., Hot Girl Touring, LLC, and Roc Nation, alleging harassment and other labor-related violations.
