There are many ways to request a divorce, but without a doubt none is as brave as the one chosen by Sheikha Mahra, princess of Dubai and daughter of the prime minister of the Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The young woman was direct and without fear of what they would say or the consequences, she decided to divorce her husband, Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum, through a publication on her Instagram account, which has already turned around the world.
Just as you read, through a post on social networks, the princess of Dubai and one of the 30 children of the political leader, announced the end of her marriage to one of her distant cousins.

The princess of Dubai sent a short but extremely powerful message on Instagram, in which she not only put an end to her relationship, but also took the opportunity to expose her husband’s infidelity.
“Dear Husband,” the princess, an advocate for women’s empowerment in the UAE, wrote. “As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife.”
The 30-year-old’s publication quickly went viral and although she retracted and deleted the post shortly after, the reality is that it was already too late. Although because she is the emir’s favorite daughter, her problems may not be so serious for her.
However, as soon as the princess’s post became a trend, thousands of people wondered what had happened in the young woman’s marriage to make Sheikha Mahra’s patience end.
And it could all be because just thirteen months after the couple married in a celebration that cost around $100 million, the sheikh cheated on her, despite having recently celebrated the birth of her daughter.
