These clips show a warped, dystopian version of America where things have gone seriously downhill. In another, Donald Trump and Elon Musk are reimagined as low-level laborers on an assembly line.

The message? A not-so-subtle jab at the U.S.’s attempts to bring manufacturing jobs back home. The videos mock the very idea of “re-industrializing” America by suggesting the country could end up in sweatshop conditions—ironically flipping the script on a criticism once aimed at China.
To top it all off, some of these dystopian AI videos end with twisted slogans like “Make America Great Again,” clearly meant to sting.
While the videos are clearly exaggerated for dramatic effect, they tap into real fears about the future of labor and economic stability in the U.S. Bringing factories back from overseas isn’t as simple as flipping a switch. It requires money, technology, training, and—most importantly—time.
