If anyone’s truly living in the moment, it’s Benny Blanco. Recently crowned one of the “Sexiest People” by People magazine, he also has the privilege of calling Selena Gomez his girlfriend.
“Mornings are my favorite time to spend with Sel because we both wake up early. It’s like our quiet moment before the rest of the world is awake.” Benny told People in an interview published on Nov. 11.

Benny recently shared some of the creative date ideas and thoughtful gifts Selena has given him, showing that she might just be the best girlfriend ever.
More than just partners, Benny says they’re true best friends. “I have a real best friend I get to do everything in the world with.”
Selena doesn’t hold back when planning dates, either. “I go all out for every date. We go all out for each other,” Benny said. “One time, Sel said, ‘I want to take you on a date.’ We drove somewhere, and she had rented out an entire botanical garden just for us.”
Their long-distance moments also show Selena’s thoughtfulness. “The first time Sel and I were going to be long-distance for a while, she made a bear that, when I pressed its hand, said, ‘I miss you so much. You’re going to be okay. I’ll see you when I get back,’” Benny shared. “She’s really good at gifting. We do the same thing – most of our gifts are handmade for each other.”

In contrast, Benny’s gifts are simpler, which Selena loves. “For Valentine’s Day, I got her Taco Bell, made her movie-theater nachos, found her favorite pickles from Texas, and deep-fried them. I also got all her favorite candies and Hot Cheetos.”

Since going public with their relationship in December 2023, Selena and Benny haven’t been shy about showing their affection. From adorable photos to romantic social media exchanges, the couple has been serving up major relationship goals.
In May 2024, an insider close to the couple told Us Weekly, “They both believe they’ve found their forever person.” The source added that Selena and Benny have already discussed their future, including marriage and starting a family.
