Through social networks, the actor received thousands of criticisms for this detail that comedian James Andre Jefferson Jr. exhibited in a publication. “Rock’s wax figure is missing all the color!” wrote James in the description.
The Hollywood celebrity retweeted this video, but not in annoyance mode, quite the contrary, it served him to announce that he would contact the museum to ask them to modify his skin color, as many users highlighted that “they went too white.”
“I will have my team contact our friends at the Grevin Museum in Paris, France, so we can work on ‘updating’ my wax figure here with some important details and improvements, starting with the color of my skin,” commented Dwayne Johnson.
Museum Responds to Dwayne Johnson
After Dwayne Johnson made this request to the Wax Museum, the museum responded. According to Deadline, the people in charge of the venue agreed with him and assured him that they would modify it immediately.
“(The actor) is right and we noticed it and obviously we will fix it as quickly as possible and send you new photos once it’s finished,” they said. After all that, everyone was left at ease, something we love because we love happy endings.
