Justin Bieber surprised all his fans by making a public appearance during the first weekend of Coachella! And not only that, but he also took the stage alongside WizKid to perform “Essence.”
On Sunday, we saw Justin Bieber once again on stage to perform alongside WizKid at Coachella 2024. The crowd went wild when Bieber appeared in his black hoodie to sing “Essence” alongside the Nigerian artist. Justin’s appearance was quite a surprise as the singer has kept a low profile lately after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.
Coachella had several cool surprises, such as Will Smith reappearing on stage alongside the reggaeton artist J Balvin, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce being seen very affectionate holding hands, or Bebe Rexha and David Guetta’s incredible performance.
Olivia Rodrigo stopped by Gwen Stefani’s set, Billie Eilish hit the stage with Lana Del Rey, and Reneé Rapp invited Kesha to perform a song. Undoubtedly, all were amazing appearances, but we can’t deny that the crowd went crazy when Justin came out to sing.
Justin Bieber and Ramsay Hunt Syndrome
In June 2022, Justin was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which led him to cancel his “Justice” tour. Ramsay Hunt syndrome (herpes zoster oticus) occurs when a shingles outbreak affects the facial nerve near one of your ears. In addition to the painful shingles rash, Ramsay Hunt syndrome can cause facial paralysis and hearing loss in the affected ear.

This isn’t the first time Justin Bieber has made surprise appearances at Coachella; in 2019, he joined Ariana Grande, and he also performed at Daniel Caesar’s Coachella set in 2022.
