The speculation began when influencer Maria Ozuna Teachey shared an explicit photo on social media showing a tall man with obscured features. The photo, which quickly circulated online, led many to believe that the mystery man was none other than Shaquille O’Neal himself. Teachey’s post was captioned with a playful, “Can y’all guess whose feet these are? #loveyou.”
Despite the image being deleted from Teachey’s Instagram, it remained on her Facebook, fueling rumors that the man was the 7-foot-1 NBA star. Fans were quick to point out the man’s large feet, humorously comparing them to the famously distinctive toes.
O’Neal wasted no time addressing the rumors with his signature humor. In a playful Instagram video, he lip-synced to Shaggy’s 2000 hit “It Wasn’t Me,” using the song to dismiss the claims. His caption read, “I might not know the words, but I do know it wasn’t me @petergunz174.”

Further adding to the drama, Teachey posted alleged evidence, including a note from Harrah’s Casino in Atlantic City, where he was performing on August 17. Despite the timing and location seemingly aligning with O’Neal’s whereabouts, he continues to deny being the man in the photo.

In a separate Instagram post, the basketball star shared a series of photos humorously mimicking the pose of the man in the viral image, further asserting his innocence. “Is this my girlfriend too? Trust me, I’ll let y’all know who my woman is, and by the way, my woman’s name is Shaqrah,” he joked.
