Prince William and his wife, Princess Kate Middleton, have set aside their issues with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following the future queen’s official cancer announcement, with no plans for reconciliation during the Duke’s planned visit to the UK in May, according to British media reports.
After Kate’s announcement last Friday, Harry and Meghan reportedly reached out to William and Kate “privately” following the video revealing the princess’s preventive chemotherapy. So far, the British press has not confirmed whether the communication took place via phone call, video call, or some form of message.

The British newspaper Daily Mail claimed that in the United States, the dukes found out at the same time as the rest of the world. Meanwhile, The Sun, citing a royal expert, assures that they were not informed of the news because they “cannot be trusted” after the betrayal. Sources close to the Prince of Wales insist that, with Kate’s cancer diagnosis and King Charles’s, Harry’s “problem” is the last thing on their minds, as reported by The Telegraph.
The solo visit, likely without Meghan and their two young children Archie and Lilibet, could be an opportunity to bridge the gap between the brothers. Harry’s relationship with his sister-in-law had previously been described as the “big sister I never had” when he got engaged to William 11 years ago; however, this, along with his brother’s, fractured after the so-called Megxit.
