In one of the biggest bitter-sweet moments in modern movie history, Quentin Tarantino is preparing what he believes will be his last movieThe Movie Critic will hit the mark of Tarantino’s tenth and final movie, and the expectations are too high.

In what seems to be the most personal movie in his career, The Movie Critic will follow the life of “a guy who lived but was never really famous, and he used to write movie reviews for a p0rn0 rag.” This is a nod to Tarantino’s actual job as a teen, back in the seventies (when the movie is set), when he used to load adult magazines into a vending machine and cash the money from the dispenser.

According to the legendary filmmaker, this job allowed him to peek at the adult content available: “All the other stuff was too skanky to read, but then there was this p0rn0 rag that had a really interesting movie page.” This movie critic who randomly wrote movie reviews in an adult magazine was snarky and wit, which caught Tarantino’s attention and is now making a movie based on that. But who will play him?

Well, Brad Pitt has officially joined the cast of this mysterious movie, and although it hasn’t been disclosed if he will take the lead role, he likely will. This will be Pitt and Tarantino’s third collaboration, and we all know they are bomb together.

Brad Pitt’s first appearance in a Tarantino movie was as Lt. Aldo Raine in the epic Inglorious Basterds. Although his character didn’t get any accolades, he really became a cult favorite of the fans. Five years ago, the iconic due reunite for Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, and Brad Pitt’s role of Cliff Booth certainly caught everybody’s attention! Pitt won his very first Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.

It’s likely Pitt will be playing this mysterious snarky movie critic in the movie that is tentatively coming out in 2025. So far, not much is known about the rest of the cast, but it’s been rumored that Tarantino is planning on reuniting with some of his most iconic actors like John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Samuel L. Jackson (of course!), and hopefully a cameo of Bruce Willis to make an epic last movie together.
