The time has come, Quentin Tarantino’s last film will come soon, ending an era of a very peculiar style of cinema. However, knowing Tarantino as we all know, this last movie is really promising and with the little information we have at the moment we can assure you it will be more than memorable.
The Movie Critic: A Pulp Fiction Reunion?
Over a month ago, we were all ecstatic to learn that Tarantino wanted to cast Bruce Willis in his upcoming The Movie Critic. Although the actor is now retired from acting after being diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, Tarantino said, he’d love to have him at least in a cameo so that the actor could have also a great last film.

Now, it seems Tarantino is looking to go full circle and bring back his Pulp Fiction magic since none other than John Travolta would be in the talks to join The Movie Critic cast. He’s not the only one though, as movie insiders claim that Samuel L. Jackson has been considered for the movie since the very beginning, which comes as no surprise since he’s been in almost all Tarantino films except for Reservoir Dogs, Death Proof, and Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood.
It’s very well known that Tarantino likes working with actors he knows and admires, that’s why he has some regulars like Sam Jackson in his filmography. So, if that wasn’t enough, rumor has it Uma Thurman could also make an appearance in The Movie Critic. Other names that are being linked to the movie are Jamie Foxx (Django Unchained) and Brad Pitt (Inglorious Basterds and Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood).

Quentin Tarantino’s The Movie Critic
Although there are not so many details about The Movie Critic, it is known that it will follow the story of a ‘porn rag’ journalist and will be set in the late 1970s, in California. For his latest film, Tarantino was inspired by a real-life movie critic who wrote for an adult magazine.
The filming of the movie was planned for the fall of this year, but, due to the writers’ and actors’ strikes in Hollywood, there is a risk of modifying the shooting date. No doubt, seeing this pair working together again would be a dream, not only for Tarantino but for movie lovers as well.
