Cinderella Will Have a Horror Version
According to Bloody Disgusting, studio ChampDog Films is just weeks away from starting filming on Cinderellas’s Curse, a gore film that will feature a princess not quite as charming as we know her. So far there are not many details about the film, but we do know that it will be directed by Louisa Warren and will star Kelly Rian Sanson.
“This is an incredibly unique twist on the Cinderella we all know and love. There will be some truly gruesome deaths at her hands. I think the gore hounds are in for a treat in my dark storytelling,” the director said.
Winnie Pooh and Cinderella will not be the only stories with their gore versions, it has already been announced that Peter Pan and Bambi will also start their productions.
Cinderella’s Curse will begin filming in the United Kingdom in June and is expected to be released in October of this year, just in time for Halloween. No word on whether Cinderella’s Curse will hit theaters worldwide, but gore fans are hoping it will.
