Video games are invading the big screen and Minecraft will try to surprise us with a live-action movie that will feature the participation of great actors like Jason Momoa and Jack Black. Yes, just as you read it, according to the news portal Deadline, Momoa will be the protagonist of the film, while Black will play another of the main characters. According to sources close to the production of the film, Jack will play Steve, who for years was the basic skin for players who bought Minecraft.
Although few details have been revealed about the plot so far, it is known that filming of the film will take place in New Zealand and will begin in the coming months. In addition to Jack Black and Jason Momoa, other actors such as Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, and Sebastian Eugene Hansen have been confirmed to participate in the film.

When Will Minecraft Be Released?
The live-action Minecraft movie does not yet have an official release date, as the production team is still working on the script. However, expectations for the film are already through the roof due to the success that some other video game films have had, such as Super Mario Bros. and Sonic, films that were successful at the box office in previous years.
However, fans also remain concerned that the film respects the key aspects of the game, which has already become a legend within the gaming industry since the video game is one of the best-selling in history with almost 140 million active players per month.
