An eight-year-old boy had to walk for several hours alone on the side of the road to ask for help, after he, along with family members, suffered a car accident when the vehicle he was traveling in crashed into the retaining wall and left the road. It all happened on December 29 at around 9:30 at night, on the El Palmito-Indé highway, which leads from the town of Buenos Aires to the town of La Tijera, in the municipality of Indé, Durango. Some media outlets indicate that the minor was traveling with his parents, but others indicate that the person traveling with him was his mother and two of his older adults.
But after suffering the terrible accident, the car left the road and ended up on the side of a bridge, at a point where it was not visible to other motorists passing by, which is why the eight-year-old, upon seeing his unconscious mother, decided to get out of the vehicle and walk on the road until he could get help.
Boy Walked the Road for Hours to Ask For Help
After a few hours of walking on the side of the road, he arrived at a community where he told what happened and they called the emergency services, who went to the scene of the accident to help those who were inside the vehicle. Unfortunately, a 32-year-old woman, who was the mother of the minor, was already without vital signs, and the versions suggest that the person at the wheel was the father of the child, who was seriously injured and was rushed to a nearby hospital. to be treated, where it is reported serious.

Another version indicates that the minor’s mother was the one who was driving and they were in the company of two older adults, who were injured and were also helped by paramedics and taken to a hospital to be checked and are stable. The eight-year-old suffered minor injuries and did not have to be taken to the hospital, since he was treated at the scene and the paramedics indicated that his injuries did not require him to be hospitalized.
