Thus, the minor was sent to jail while investigations are carried out; for now, the Sheriff announced that the weapons found in the child’s possession were not real, but replicas, but even so, he stressed that the incident was extremely serious, since the arsenal he displayed, with airsoft guns that shoot plastic ammunition, knives and swords, could have been used to cause harm.

He also emphasized that although the arsenal wasn’t lethal, the threat and terror could have caused an incident at the school and reiterated in a press conference that any threat against schools in his county will be taken with the utmost seriousness, even if it involves minors or if they say it was all a joke.
The 11-year-old boy was arrested and his identity and photo were revealed and Chtwood warned parents that this will happen in future cases even if they are minors, because he said that if they do not educate their children, the police will do it.
