Getting ready to attend social events is such an excitement for a lot of people. No matter how big or small those reunions may be, getting ready for them is a bit stressful sometimes. We get it, you always want to look your absolute best when going out, but nobody is perfect, and accidents may happen when we are in such a rush.
Either you spilled your foundation, your mascara smudged, the blush was way more pigmented than you thought or your powder broke and fell all over your outfit you don’t have to worry. We got you covered with these infallible hacks.
No more liquid products?

If you haven’t got the time to replace your almost finished products and desperately need one last use of your favorite liquid lipstick or concealer, fear not because there is always a way to scrape more product out of those tubes.
Liquid makeup that uses a wand applicator usually comes with a stopper that prevents the product from spilling, but this little plastic thing usually prevents you from getting every last bit of product out for use.
So, for you to get every single drop out of your favorite makeup product, all you need to do is take some tweezers and carefully remove that stopper, that way the applicator will be able to reach the rest of the product left and you´ll have a couple more uses out of that amazing product of yours.
Dry Mascara?

One day it is the most perfect mascara you’ve tried, and the other it has turned into a dry, clumpy mess; you never know. But, from now on, it won’t catch you off guard.
To extend the life use of your mascara, all you have to do is either add one or two drops of contact lens solution inside the tube and mix it; or place the tube in a glass with hot water and wait at least 5 minutes for the product to melt. This last option takes a little longer and is more of a short-term fix, but both alternatives work for at least that last urgent use.
Too pigmented?

There are some tricky products out there that seem nice and subtle but end up being very pigmented and hard to blend.
If you ever find yourself in that situation when you overload your brush with bronzer, blush or highlighter, and almost end up looking like a clown for the incredible amount of color you just applied to your face, you can now solve it by taking a clean brush and buffing the product as best as you can.
Then take your foundation brush or sponge, and without adding any more product, continue blending the color out. Finally, take some setting powder and “clean“ the edges of your cheekbones as you would normally do when contouring. No more clown face then.
Spilled Foundation?

This is one of the messiest makeup products of them all, that’s why we should always be prepared for the worst. If you happen to spill it over your great outfit, don´t worry because now we have the perfect solution to remove it without leaving a stain on it.
First, take a card or makeup spatula to carefully remove the excess makeup from the fabric so that the stain doesn’t get bigger. Then press a slightly wet piece of kitchen paper over the spot a couple of times and add a couple of drops of peroxide with your fingers.
With a toothbrush start brushing the stain in circular motions and continue to wash your piece of clothing like you normally would. Finally, hang it up to dry and avoid using a drying machine this time.
Lipstick stains?

Transfer-proof lipsticks can be very dry and uncomfortable sometimes so it is pretty common that our lipstick gets into some of our clothes or fabric napkins. So to get rid of those annoying stains, you just need to carefully get the excess lipstick from the cloth and add some drops of grease remover soap.
Let it sit for at least 10 minutes and start rubbing the stain with a towel using circular motions. In the end, place some kitchen paper to absorb the water and if the stain has not come out yet, repeat the process a couple more times.
As you can see, every little accident has a great solution so from now on, there won’t be any more makeup emergencies that will ruin your party spirit. With these makeup hacks, you will always look flawless at any event you decide to attend.
