Move Over Millennial Pink

The nineties will forever be remembered as the age of the Tamagotchi, chokers, plastic jackets and trousers, pop bands like the Spice Girls and the Backstreet Boys, and amazing teen movies –I mean wasn’t Clueless the best movie of all times? Ok, I’ve got to chill. What I want to say is that some trends and events come to represent a whole decade. But why do we do this? Is it because, literally, those are things we remember? Or do we just pick the most fashionable and popular things of that time and decide to pine over them? I’d be more inclined to the latter; however, no one could argue with me that in today’s world trends spark and fizzle in the space of a few days. From Pokemon Go, which was a hit for a few months, now we have the fidget spinner, which I give it a couple of weeks if not less, and, of course, Millennial Pink, the color that’s supposed to represent a whole generation. This color made us run to our favorite store and get anything in that color (yes, I actually bought a couple pieces in that hue). However, it became so fashionable that most people don’t really get which is the exact tone or its meaning. Moreover, the upcoming styles opt for brighter colors, a completely different trend than what we have seen in recent times. Since one of the most relevant things about fashion is actually moving forward, we present six colors that, according to Pantone, are going to be key for the rest of the year. So, are you ready to leave millennial pink behind and start setting new trends? Niagara

Its cool undertones make it easy to combine with other elements, so you can wear it with either white or black. It is a great neutral foundation for any of your outfits.

Yellow Primrose

However, this trend is all about contrasts, so it’s fine to combine it with other bright colors. If you’re not so sure about this particular hue, you can always use it with accessories like scarves or bags. This particular yellow goes well with all skin tones and it looks great when combined with brown, beige, or green hues. There are no rules here, go ahead and experiment as much as you want.
Flame

–Greenery
