Jack Nicholson Changed Cinema for Simple Things That Make Him Happier

Today we met envy: Jack Nicholson retired from cinema to start enjoying simple things that make him happier, like going for a walk or reading a book under a tree. That is why every time they offered him to participate in a new project, he simply rejected them and of course, with his years of experience and talent, he became one of the most recognized actors in history. It’s time to rest.

Recently, in an interview with record producer Lou Adler, he was asked what he had become of the protagonist of The Shining. The filmmaker responded that the actor is doing “what he wants at all times (…) he wants to keep a low profile, have the life he wants.” And then, he said that recently, a friend of his wanted Jack to participate in a movie, to which he responded: “I don’t want to do it. Do you know what I did today? “I have sat under a tree and read a book.”

Jack Nicholson’s last film

The last time Jack was seen in a movie was in How Do You Know If It’s Love?, a romantic comedy directed by his friend James L. Brooks. It was released in 2010 and starred Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, and Owen Wilson. Nicholson was born on April 22, 1937, in Neptune City, New Jersey, United States. He starred in several iconic films and has won multiple awards, including several Academy Awards.

Now, the actor is 86 years old and has one of the most outstanding careers in the history of cinema, so we are very happy that after all the effort and dedication, he finally has a space to rest and enjoy those things that seem so simple, but leave enormous satisfaction.
