Recently, in an interview with record producer Lou Adler, he was asked what he had become of the protagonist of The Shining. The filmmaker responded that the actor is doing “what he wants at all times (…) he wants to keep a low profile, have the life he wants.” And then, he said that recently, a friend of his wanted Jack to participate in a movie, to which he responded: “I don’t want to do it. Do you know what I did today? “I have sat under a tree and read a book.”

It was released in 2010 and starred Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, and Owen Wilson. Nicholson was born on April 22, 1937, in Neptune City, New Jersey, United States. He starred in several iconic films and has won multiple awards, including several Academy Awards.
