“I never imagined Vin Diesel would be like this,” wrote several of the actor’s fans after a video of him harassing an influencer during an interview went viral. The footage, which dates back to 2017, resurfaces amid the lawsuit the celebrity is facing for abusing a former assistant on the set of Fast and Furious 5.
The video shows Vin Diesel interrupting YouTuber Carol Moreira to praise her physique: “God, you’re so beautiful, you’re such a beautiful woman, am I right or am I right?” he asks the rest of the production. She simply laughs, covers her face, and says: “How am I supposed to do this interview?”
But he doesn’t stop and continues even though the Brazilian influencer looks uncomfortable. He makes her a proposal to go for breakfast. “She is so beautiful. Let’s get out of here, let’s go for lunch. My God, I love her. Look how beautiful she is, God, I love her, wow,” continues the actor, who was promoting his film xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.
The moment got even “creepier” when Vin Diesel got up from his seat and crawled over to Carol kneeling while continuing to compliment her. “She’s so beautiful, it’s like you can’t even interview with her,” the actor says before the video ends.
After some time, the young woman confessed that the celebrity made her feel uncomfortable and did not know how to react at that moment. For their part, users on social networks described him as a “disgusting” and “creepy” human being.

The Abuse Lawsuit Vin Diesel Is Facing
Vin Diesel is currently facing a lawsuit for abusing his former assistant Asta Jonasson, during the filming of the fifth film in the saga in which he stars. In the brief, to which Vanity Fair had access, this episode occurred in 2010, in a hotel where Vin Diesel was staying. First, she was attending to some of the actor’s guests, but when they were left alone, he grabbed her wrists with one hand and, with the other, began to touch her body without her consent.
The agreements under which the young woman was hired, underlined that the actor, for security reasons, could not leave the room; however, when he was about to remove her underwear, she managed to escape and go out into the corridor. Vin Diesel chased her, caught up with her, subdued her, and then began to touch himself.
“Terrified, Ms. Jonasson closed her eyes, trying to dissociate herself from the sexual assault and avoid angering him,” the statement reads. The next day, the young woman was fired for failing to comply.
