Donald Trump Talks About Taylor Swift
Donald Trump seems unafraid of the power that Swifties can wield in the upcoming election, and recently, he has referred to Taylor again.
The Republican candidate and recently declared “convicted felon” spoke about the pop diva with Variety co-editor in chief Ramin Setoodeh about his new book “Apprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass.”

In the interview, the president praised the singer’s appearance, although he questioned her political preferences.
“I think she’s beautiful. Very beautiful! I find her very beautiful. I think she’s liberal. She probably doesn’t like Trump. I hear she’s very talented,” he said. “I think she’s very beautiful, actually… unusually beautiful!”
Trump Questions Taylor’s Country Success
Donald Trump also recalled the ‘Cruel Summer‘ singer’s musical beginnings and how despite her political stances she was able to have success in country.
“She is liberal, or is that just an act?” he asked Setoodeh during their interview. “She’s legitimately liberal? It’s not an act? It surprises me that a country star can be successful being liberal.”
Early in her career, Taylor Swift was labeled for her apolitical stance, but in 2018, she came out in favor of the Democratic Party, endorsing Phil Bredesen and Jim Cooper for the Senate and the House of Representatives. She also supported Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the 2020 United States presidential elections.
Swiftie Trump Supports Taylor Swift
This is not the first time that the former president addresses the singer’s political stance; earlier this year, Trump assured that Taylor doesn’t support Democrats because they are corrupt.
In a post on his social network ‘Truth’, he claimed that he made her a lot of money by signing a Music Modernization Law, so she couldn’t be disloyal.
