Ezra Miller already had his first public appearance after several turbulent years, full of scandals and legal problems. The actor attended the premiere of The Flash in Los Angeles, the starring role he kept despite the bad behavior he had for some time.
Although his character is one of DC’s most beloved superheroes, many of his fans questioned his appearance, as not everyone agrees that he has returned to the big screen as if he had done nothing wrong in the past.
Ezra Miller Makes His First Public Appearance
Context: Ezra Miller was canceled because he appeared in a video that showed him choking a woman in a bar in Iceland in 2020, then he was charged with felony theft in Vermont in 2022 and was also arrested twice in Hawaii, the first time for disorderly conduct and the second time for harassment.
Miller used his public appearance to thank Warner Bros. Discovery head David Zaslav, Warner Bros. Film Group principals Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy, and DC Studios administrators James Gunn and Peter Safran. “Thank you for your grace, discernment, and care in the context of my life. And in bringing this moment to fruition,” the actor said.
The studio had already announced in advance that the premiere in Los Angeles would be the only public event for The Flash that Ezra Miller would attend, to avoid the pressure of the press about the events that the actor has lived. Even during the event, no on-camera interviews were allowed, and Ezra focused only on talking about the movie.
