Sofía Vergara Put the Host of ‘El Hormiguero’ in His Place After Trying to Humiliate Her

Sofia Vergara started 2024 with attitude and if you don’t believe us, you just need to ask her how she did in the recent interview she had for the program El Hormiguero where she was in charge of putting the interviewer who tried to humiliate her repeatedly. Although Pablo Motos is known for the peculiar way in which he interviews his guests, because on many occasions he usually makes practical ‘jokes’ with them, on this occasion, the Spaniard did not even have the opportunity to put his hands in.

The best thing about the situation is that the epic interview and each of Sofia’s ingenious responses were recorded for posterity in a video that in a matter of hours went viral on social networks. This is how thousands of people, followers or not of the Colombian, gave her their support and at the same time congratulated her for not being intimidated during the program.

What Did Sofía Vergara Say in El Hormiguero?

Sofia Vergara was invited to El Hormiguero, a popular program in Spain, last Monday, January 8, to promote her new series, Griselda. However, upon arriving at the forum she met Pablo Motos, host of the show, who on several occasions made very out-of-place jokes to make the Colombian uncomfortable. On several occasions, the interviewer tried to make fun of her about her hair color, her eyelashes, and even the way Sofia Vergara speaks English.

Despite Motos’ insistence on driving Sofía out of her senses, she decided with class to put him in her place again and again, although the response that left the Spaniard speechless came when she questioned the actress’s pronunciation. Well, when Pablo was amused by the way Vergara pronounced Modern Family, the interpreter answered him immediately:

“I did it wrong? Do you speak better than me? How many Emmy nominations do you have in the United States? “How many times have you been nominated for the Golden Globes?”

Faced with such a response, the interviewer had no choice but to admit his mistake and even acknowledge that for the first time, a guest had made him break a sweat on his program.
