It’s been a week since the Internet broke with controversial images of rapper Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori engaging in inappropriate activities while riding a boat in Venice. Since then, not only has the public condemned their behavior, but it seems that they could be facing legal issues for that.
This week, the Venetian boat company that took the couple on the infamous ride informed that the Wests are banned for life in a statement that read as follows: “Mr. West and his wife will certainly no longer be welcome on board our company’s boats.”
Kanye West and Bianca Censori Under Investigation
But that’s not all; today, it was reported that the Italian police have opened an investigation for breaking “standards of public decorum” after several locals who witnessed the events decided to report it to the police. According to a source who talked to the Daily Mail this Tuesday, the police already intend to question the boat driver and they could escalate it to a thorough investigation.
“The images show the couple clearly in a state of intimacy, and if the local prosecutor decides to press charges, then we will notify the couple, most probably through the relevant Embassies,” said the alleged source. This is a serious matter in the Italian city since offenses like this are “acts contrary to public decency, which is punishable by an administrative sanction […] any breaches are severely punished.”

If this wasn’t enough, Venice’s councilor for public security, Elisabetta Pesce, also declared on the matter saying that Kanye West and Bianca Censori showed “a lack of respect for the city.” However, as we’ve been covering, this wasn’t the only incident the couple was involved in during their trip to Italy since they first arrived in early August.
Besides the public nudity display, Kanye West and Bianca Censori were also condemned by locals for walking barefoot, and Bianca was reported for wearing sheer tights that were extremely see-through, something many locals also considered indecent.
