“I’mma Go Get These Kids!”: Kanye West Loses It Over Custody Drama With Kim Kardashian

Kanye West Loses It Over Custody Drama With Kim Kardashian

Kanye West is once again putting his private life on livestream, and this time, it’s about the kids. In a chaotic live posted to social media, the rapper—masked head-to-toe in black—launched into an expletive-filled tirade about the custody of his four children with ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

“I’mma go get these kids, bro!” he shouted, blaming DJ Akademiks for “putting the battery in his back” and claiming he was spiraling over not seeing North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

The clip, reportedly filmed while Ye was at an airport, quickly went viral—not only for the meltdown itself, but for what it reveals about the long-simmering custody battle between the 24-time Grammy winner and the Skims founder.

Kanye West’s Rant Heard Round the Internet

Wearing what looked like a blackout gimp mask, West delivered his monologue with unfiltered rage:

“F–k all these f–t n–s. I’m talking to the lawyers — it gets to the point where I don’t lose my f–kin’ mind where I got to get used to not seeing my kids.”

The video, shared by Hollywood Unlocked, is the latest in a growing pile of public grievances from Ye, 47, about what he calls an unfair custody agreement. In recent months, he’s described the arrangement as “jail-like visitation” and accused Kim and the so-called “Kardashian mob” of keeping him away from major parenting decisions—from what schools the kids attend to whether his daughters wear lipstick.

“I NEED TO RAISE THEM,” he wrote in an all-caps, now-deleted tweet. “ALL THESE RIGHTS HAVE BEEN TAKEN FROM ME BY THE KARDASHIAN MOB HULU AND DISNEY.”

But… Is That Even True?

Not exactly. According to Page Six, Ye’s claim that he hasn’t seen his son Saint “this year” is directly contradicted by photos of him in Japan in January—shopping with Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

A source close to Kim says the issue isn’t access, it’s stability:

“Kanye can see the kids anytime he wants. There are no limitations. But Kim is careful not to put them in chaotic situations. Protecting her kids comes first.”

In other words: it’s not custody he’s missing—it’s control.

The Bigger Picture: Fatherhood and the Feed

Ye’s custody rants are nothing new, but the latest livestream pushes the boundary even further. It’s part performance art, part father-in-crisis, and part attempt to redirect a conversation that Kim, notably, refuses to engage with publicly.

It also reflects a deeper trend: Kanye using his platform—and fanbase—as leverage in a deeply personal dispute, while alleging that media and celebrity elites (Beyoncé, Rihanna, even Trump?) are silently letting it happen.

“I don’t get to be a dad,” he wrote. “Everyone just watches.”

But the world is watching—and what they’re seeing is a man unraveling online, while his ex stays silent and protective. In a custody war being waged on livestream, silence may be Kim’s sharpest move.
