Previous Royal Family Editing Errors Resurface Amid Kate Middleton Scandal

katemiddleton - Previous Royal Family Editing Errors Resurface Amid Kate Middleton Scandal

Here’s the thing: we have all edited our photos at least once. But amid the Kate Middleton drama, one would expect The Royal Family not to let this one slip.

After posting a family photo of herself and her children, Kate’s picture became a topic of discussion. Twitter users didn’t hesitate to point out the several errors and editing mistakes that could be found in the Instagram picture. Some people alleged that they were not only edited but also AI-generated.

As a result, the Princess of Wales had to release a statement via X (Twitter) where she confessed to edit the photo: “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C.”

Previous Editing Errors

Even in the eye of the hurricane, this is not the first time the family has been accused of editing their pictures. So, don’t worry if you make a mistake in your latest insta post. Unless you are a member of The Royal Family.

Take a look at past editing mistakes that have been pointed by users before:

Prince Louis has 4 fingers

It could be hard to believe the official instagram of The Prince and Princess of Wales didn’t double check the missing finger on Prince Louis’s finger, but they did not!

A Royal Family spokesperson turned down the allegations of altering the photo, claiming it wasn’t photoshopped- Louis had simply bent his finger over. Sure…

Blurry Harry

Another Christmas postcard got spotted as suspicious and even got picture killed by PA Media. “PA has since been advised that the picture is not representative of the Christmas card sent by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.” In the image, Harry appeared blurrier than Meghan and Archie.

Queen Elizabeth’s spliced sofa

Weeks after the death of Queen Elizabeth, a picture showing her majesty surrounded by her great-grand children went viral. It showed a sliced sofa in between her and her 12 great-granchildren. An X user even defended her by mentioning how difficult it is to take a picture with 10 children. What do you think?

Hands Down?

Another one involving Queen Elizabeth. In this occasion, a picture of Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh at Windsor Castle in 2020, ahead of his 99th birthday made eyebrows raise when people noticed that the Queen’s right hand was a tone darker than her left, followed by a weird shadow running across de edge.

It was the first public photo of the duke after he was seen leaving hospital in London.

So next time you post something, learn from the Royal Family’s mistakes and don’t let anything slip -specially if people is making conspiracy theories about your whereabouts-.
