Madonna opened up to her fans and gave details of the most recent health problems that kept her in intensive care and forced her to postpone her tour celebrating 40 years in music. “It’s a miracle that I’m here,” said the pop diva at her most recent show at the Barclays Center in New York. Additionally, she remembered how horrible her stay in the hospital was when she thought she would die.
“The fact that she’s here now is the fucking miracle. There are some people in this room tonight who were with me in the hospital,” referring to their relatives who were present at the concert.
The Madonna also counted on the help of a mysterious woman named Siobhan who dragged her to the hospital from her room, where she was found unconscious. Without her help, the singer’s fate would have been different.
Likewise, she humorously narrated how she woke up in the hospital room surrounded by her six children, who were worried about her health. She assured me that she had to go through something like that to have them all gathered in the same room. Her experience was detailed, it made her reflect on her life and death, remembering how her mother died of cancer at the age of 30 when the artist was a child.
“And I thought: What if she left my children? It would destroy me to leave my children at this point in their lives. He didn’t think about me. I was thinking about them, and I was thinking about my mother and how scared she must have been knowing that she was going to leave us all behind,” she shared.
Madonna was in a coma for 48 hours and during that period she could only hear the voice of her Kabbalah teacher, Eitan Yardeni. The news of her admission to UCI last June caused quite a stir in the music industry and the millions of Material Girl fans around the world.
